The CRYPTO MOUNTAIN Story

Back in 2018, after the ICO bubble affected a whole industry in the Crypto Valley, with thousands of projects imploding, it was time for a timeout. The best location for recharging batteries and fresh ideas for a sustainable crypto future is a place far away from the hectic pace of daily business.

Davos in the Swiss mountains offers an environment of alpine nature full of snow, fresh air and sunshine. Ski in the morning, talks in the afternoon, and party at night: The idea of CRYPTO MOUNTAIN was born.

Since then, blockchain tech innovators and founders, crypto visionaries and advocates from both startups and global corporations, as well as private investors and VCs from the Crypto Valley and beyond, meet every year in March for this two and a half-day offsite retreat.

In the late afternoon on Sunday, March 1, 2026, the speakers and participants will meet for their pre-summit session at the bar of the Hotel Morosani Schweizerhof in Davos. Set in the middle of Davos, this hotel is one of the central venus of the World Economic Forum annually.

VIBES offers a perfect opportunity for informal conversations with some of the speakers, including visionaries, innovators, founders, and participants alike. It's also an opportunity to set the tone for topics which we will explore in greater depth over the following days.
